People who follow a healthy lifestyle have less than half the number of heart attacks and strokes than those who live an unhealthy lifestyle.
Some people who follow a healthy lifestyle
still experience a heart attack or a stroke,
but this is likely to occur when they are on average thirteen years older than those following no healthy behaviours.
